A “J” number is a unique nine-digit code assigned to all students who attend the Community College of Philadelphia (CCP). Although the number is quite long, you will need your J number to enroll in classes or access your student account in person. If you do not know your J number, or you have lost your registration documents, there are ways that you can locate the number without much effort.
Retrieve your registration document or class schedule. Scan the document until you find the “Student Identification” field. Your J number will be present in this field.
Log into your MyCCP online account. Navigate to the “Student profile” section. Click the link “Student Identification Number” to view your J number.
Visit the Community College of Philadelphia and go to the admissions office. Inform the clerk that you would like to obtain your J number. Provide the representative with your state-issued identification card and social security card when prompted to do so. Wait for the clerk to provide you with your J number.
