A variety of scholarships is available to help students of Hungarian origin pursue college degrees at American institutions. The primary source of the financial assistance is organizations aiming to further the development of Hungarian society and strengthen ties between Hungary and the United States.

The Hungarian American Coalition provides financial assistance to Hungarian students through the Dr. Elemer and Eva Kiss Scholarship Fund. These scholarships typically provide $1,000. To be eligible for these scholarships, a student must be Hungarian and must have already gained admission at a college or university in the United States. The scholarships may be renewable, but past winners will not be given priority over new applicants. Interested students should visit the Hungarian American Coalition for more information.
