When working with a pendulum, like any other tool of divination, it should be cleansed and charged on a regular basis. Preferably, the pendulum should be cleansed before and after each use. However, we are all guilty of slacking now and then. For the purpose of this How To, we will cover a simple way to cleanse and charge a pendulum.
Cleansing a Pendulum Method One
If the day is forcasted to be sunny, in the early morning take the pendulum outside and place it on a ledge or window sill (somewhere safe away from prying fingers).
Leave the pendulum outside in the sun, undisturbed, all day. When the sun sets, bring the pendulum back inside. Just as with stones, the pendulum should feel clear and light. If you are still feeling fuzzy, or weighted, energies when you handle it, you may want to put the pendulum back out in the sun the following day.
