Earning a degree can be costly and finding scholarships can be time-consuming and frustrating. Greek-Americans have a number of resources available to help pay for college. Scholarships, fellowships and grant programs abound to help reduce the financial burden of a college education for students of Hellenic descent.
AHEPA Educational Foundation Scholarship Program
The American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association provides scholarships of up to $2,000 to high school, undergraduate and graduate students of Greek descent. Scholarships are divided into two groups and are awarded based on either academic achievement alone or academic achievement and financial need. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA to be considered.

Peter Agris Memorial Scholarship
The Peter Agris Memorial Scholarship is open to Greek-American students who are pursuing degrees in journalism or communications. Undergraduate and graduate students at accredited institutions with a minimum 3.0 GPA may apply. Additionally, applicants must demonstrate a history of service to their school and community as well as financial need.

Hellenic Times Scholarship Fund
The Hellenic Times Scholarship Fund provides scholarship awards to undergraduate and graduate students of Greek descent between the ages of 17 and 25. Recipients are selected base on academic merit and financial need and the amount of the awards vary based on available funds.

PanHellenic Scholarship Awards
The PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation offers scholarships to Greek-American high school graduates and students who are pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited institution. The $10,000 scholarships are awarded to 25 students who demonstrate both academic excellence and financial need.

Hellenic American Professional Society Scholarships
The Hellenic American Professional Society awards scholarships to high school graduates, undergraduate and graduate students of Greek descent living in the greater Bay area. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA to be considered for the $750 award.
